This course is designed for those that require their oxygen accreditation-This course conforms to the Australian Resuscitation council

The scope of the course:

Advanced life support and management of a casualty until the arrival of medical aid.
At the end of this course you will have the knowledge and skills to provide an advanced level of resuscitation in oxygen to support the casualty or casualties until the arrival of medical assistance.

Prepare resuscitation equipment

•    Resuscitation techniques
•    Attach and operate an AED-Defibrillation
•    Administer oxygen
•    Operate suction equipment
•    Restore and maintain equipment
•    Principles of First Aid
•    Working with the Ambulance
•    Infection
•    Resuscitation (DRABCD)
•    Choking
•    Advanced Oxygen Resuscitation
•    Chronic Airway Limitation
•    Oropharyngeal airways
•    Scenarios and hands on Practice

Equipment:

Airway manikins, BVM Bagging open air manikins, oropharyngeal and nasal airway insertion.
Award Issued:
A4 statement of Attainment certificate in Apply Advanced Resuscitation techniques- valid for 1 year

Prerequisites:

15 years or older

Cost $120.00 per person- Groups of 6 or more
